Professional Background
Tom Psipsikas - Managing Member
Tom previously held roles as EVP, Technology for MLB Advanced Media and SVP, Media Technology for the unified MLB Office of the Commissioner and was one of the technology leads during the transition of MLBAM to BAMTech (now Disney Streaming Services). Tom was primarily responsible for the MLBAM media technology and remote operations teams, including engineering next gen broadcast and sports media technology solutions for the league and 3rd party clients. His team oversaw deployment of infrastructure across ballparks (including Statcast and Pitchcast), data centers and multiple operational facilities worldwide. A leader and engineer of the 2014 rapid expansion of MLB's instant replay, Tom also oversaw remote technical operations at 30 ballparks. For over a decade, Tom’s leadership of multiple engineering and operational teams always built innovative and reliable technology on time.
Previously a veteran of the music business as well, Tom also worked on Grammy award winning recordings and restoration projects at The Magic Shop and Blue Room Restoration.
